Nicki Pedersen, a triple world champion, has been added to the 2023 roster of Danish club Holsted
The Danish player’s season ended on a sour note on June 5 as he injured his hip and pelvis in an accident in the PGE Ekstraliga in Grudziadz.
The 45-year-old was flown back to his native country, where he had surgery and is now continuing his rehabilitation.
The Tigers have already secured Holsted’s services for the next season, which will be his 21st in a row despite his fitness battle.

Rasmus Jensen, Rene Bach, Claus Vissing, Nicklas Aagaard, Patrick Baek, and Bastian Pedersen, son of Nicki Pedersen‘s brother Ronni, will all be competing with Pedersen in the FIM Danish Speedway GP.
Lasse Bjerre has been added to the Tigers’ roster as a reserve star in case of injury.
