Manager Mikael Teurnberg of Dackarna is certain that “badass” Latvian player Andzejs Lebedevs would perform well in Malilla in 2023
MOTORSPORTS WORLD CUP : The Latvian racer joins Danish talent Rasmus Jensen, Filip Hjelmland, and Ludvig Lindgren at the Malilla club’s opponent Rospiggarna in the Bauhaus Elitserien after spending the previous season with them.
After making it to the semi-finals at the For Nature Solutions FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Torun on October 1, Lebedevs was promoted to first reserve for the 2023 season. This came after he was selected the series’ third replacement rider for the 2018 season.
Dackarna manager Mikael Teurnberg believes the 2017 Speedway European Champion will flourish in Malilla.
This is a man who rides fairly hard, who has a little bit of a badass in him,” he gushed on the team’s website.
Andzejs Lebedevs

2014 preseason: “I brought him to Rospiggarna. He then went on to compete in the Rospiggarna and Smederna races for several seasons. For a number of years, he was a mainstay in Smederna’s starting lineup and a major reason why they won league championships.
I think it’s fantastic that he’s decided to compete for Dackarna. It’s a relief to have him on board now.
However, Polish international Kacper Woryna has been given a new contract by champions Smederna for the next year. Woryna can’t wait to be a part of Smederna’s championship defense after helping the Eskilstuna team win Bauhaus Elitserien gold this year with Speedway GP pair Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley.
He was overjoyed to call Eskilstuna Smederna his home. As a cyclist, all I’ve ever wanted from 2021 when I joined the club, is gold.
I am ecstatic that we won silver in 2021 and gold in 2022, but it does not alter my team’s focus or determination to win yet another gold. Next year will be a new beginning for us, and I’m excited to be a part of it.
