A1 Grand Prix World Cup : The Indian squad is getting ready for the first season of the A-1 Grand Prix. In the first race of the season, teams from all around the globe will compete with the same equipment. The first event will take place in England on September 25; however, Team India has a dilemma “Karun Chandok, their top driver, has not yet been given the green light to compete for India.
Karun’s contract currently only covers the first two Grand Prix events. The winner has a contract with another company “something he thinks will be resolved shortly. The inclusion of Karun Chandok in the race is a huge boost for the Indian squad, and his inclusion has sparked hopes that other athletes of Karthikeyan’s caliber would emerge to compete on the world stage.
